The first reviews are getting in, and i was expecting to be abysmal but looks like even if the critics may be trying really hard to hate on it, they couldn't mostly because it looks like there are no real reason to hate on it (other than the fact critics only like infinite sequels if these are from superheros )
Actually, looks like the most love-to-hate critics liked this more than the first
I don't know if there was an embargo or not, or just that some of these media are so eager to trash everything that couldn't even wait (i have noticed before some these same media are always the first to the break embargos specially if they have bad reviews to write)
I haven't read bad reviews about Johnny either. Like his performance seems more toned down and layered than the first, and even other comments about that the character development in this movie is better than the first. Actually, with the exception of one or two reviews (that hated the first and think this is a complete waste of space) not even if it could be all considered rotten at tomatometer, i haven't read any review telling the movie is terrible or so, more like is bland
"Go see the next instalment of Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass. Sasha Baron Cohen plays Time and is wearing hand painted contact lenses by Eyeworks For Film, a colour change lens taking his natural brown iris from dark brown to icy blue. Our team were also on set for Johnny Depp who was also wearing stunning contact lenses painted by the very talented Cristina Patterson, reprising his role as the Mad Hatter. Go see this fun film! "
Edited to add: OH MY GOD! I did it!! I don't know how but i embed my first facebook link successfully
