So, some person received an AMAZING christmas gift from AIW2 and published this on tumblr. And if you pay attention and the sketches are really used in the movie, then it seems the Mad Hatter will have a different look than in the first movie
"So my foster mum and her fella know a guy who’s a stuntman, and he was recently working on Alice in Wonderland 2. Here are two of my Christmas presents, sketches from the costume designer of outfits the White Queen and Mad Hatter wear in the film along with scraps of the actual fabrics used in both. Also the paper in the white Queen’s frame is one of the call sheets. "
A small sweetie factory in Edinburgh will have a taste of the big screen in 2016.
Jenny's Homemade Sweets factory nestled in Willowbrae will see its Bah Humbug creations featured in the new Alice in Wonderland movie Through the Looking Glass starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway, following an unexpected phone call from film producers last year.
Using the traditional recipe her father created more than 60 years ago, Sandra McDonald is responsible for the sweets in the spotlight, fresh from the small factory at Jock's Lodge.
“It's amazing where we get requests from,” Sandra said.
“Last year I got a phone call and it was a guy from Shepperton Studios and I thought 'this is going to come to nothing'.
“They're making Alice through the Looking Glass with Johnny Depp, the sequel to Alice in Wonderland, and they needed a specific sweet made.
"It was a triangular humbug shape with black and white stripes."
“I said ‘I make them already they're called Bah Humbugs, they're popular at Christmas'," Sandra said.
"It's a strip mint, but is the humbug shape as opposed to a ball.
“He asked to send a sample down so I did and he said ‘oh they all loved it so can we have six jars?’ and now it's part of the film.
Yeah, me too...and we could get a preview soon (or in a few months)
