I was watching something random on TV last night- I think it was the NCAA Men's Basketball playoff selection show (I don't follow college b-ball anymore but since I spent some time at Duke I am still a distant fan and was checking to make sure they got in). And suddenly the (older) Sauvage commercial came on. WOWZA, what a great surprise that was- certainly jolted me out of my lull!!
I watch a lot of hgtv: fixer upper, beach homes, etc. kind of in the background while I look at the paper, etc. last night a couple looking at a place to buy in the Caribbean were agreeing that the tv room looked comfortable & the guy said “great room for watching sports” & his wife said “or for watching pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny depp!”.....you bet!
This is not a good random mention. The Allure magazine cover story on AH is now online and the writer, in referring to her "bravery," flat out called Johnny a wife beater. No "alleged" or "accused" about it. Saying he had tried to use the press to prove her a liar and failing. Even though it was not proven in a court that he was guilty, shouldn't it be illegal for a writer to make those statements? Amber knew exactly what she was doing when she didn't take it to court. She knew her accusations couldn't be unproven and she could leave it to others to keep it going. The news is also having a field day with her now dating Sean Penn, saying she is going from one abuser to another. She is flitting from one high profile boyfriend to another, attending Oscar parties, and seeming to be living the high life. Johnny has to almost be in hiding. The one time he recently attended a charity party the actress he posed with was forced to delete the pic of them, from her site, because of the outrage from her fans. So far, Karma is doing a lousy job.
