No more festival showings or a limited theatrical release?
I just saw on the doc's twitter feed that it will screen today/tonight at the Key West Film Festival, so it may have a few more screenings.
I haven't heard of a theatrical release However, the release snuck up on me, as I just received my pre-ordered blu-ray last night I had lost track of when it would be arriving. I think it's also available on iTunes and Google Play (I don't see it as being available for streaming on Amazon, at least not yet. Anyway, it's a really great film, with lots and lots of memories, both good and bad, from so many of the cast and crew members, not just the big stars. Johnny's screentime is pretty sizeable, without taking over (Charlie Sheen is somewhat of the "narrator" even though there's not much narration, so he probably has the most screen time, but there's a lot of input from everybody). Johnny seems so much more at ease than usual, and he speaks without the pauses that often come over him when he's trying to find the right words. Lots of laughing, and also some memories of anger (mostly at Oliver Stone, who did pretty nasty things to them) and some pretty crazy stories from all.
Great film- I hope everyone gets a chance to see/stream/rent/buy it!
