I couldn't find these on here and I hope I'm not duplicate posting. If I am, sorry! I'm sure most of you are aware that the September issue of Uncut magazine - Syd Barrett on the cover - featured a nice four page re-visiting of the 1994 NME article on Johnny and Shane MacGowan. Lovely! Johnny and Shane pics are all by Derek Ridgers.
This was a little blurb from the front of the magazine about a contest to win the Pirates guitar:
I feel like there was a fog in front of my eyes for 36 years, and the second Lily-Rose was born, that fog just lifted and everything became totally clear and focused~ Johnny Depp To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

I sure wasn't!! How wonderful- is Uncut an offshoot from NME, then? Even though I have the NME, I will have to track down this one- thanks very much for posting it, Maggy!
I don't know if Uncut is an offshoot of NME. I didn't see any direct reference to it in the magazine. This is a great great issue, btw. They also have several pages of pictures of the Stones from 1975 along with some fascinating tidbits about them. Then there's the extensive Syd Barrett tribute and a funny questionnaire completed by Evan Dando ("If I had to leave a body part to science, it would be... Useless"). I just got mine a couple days ago at the biggest Borders in the area. My local one didn't have it.
I had to share this one fabulous pic of Keith - along with the caption under it and the caption next to the elephant pic:
